Must have DC license in hand prior to start date; some units accept
pending DC license. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
Must-Have: - 2 years minimum experience required in general OR,
bariatrics, ENT, neurology, orthopedic, and urology lines. -
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of
acuity. - On-call requirement: 6 calls per 6-week schedule. -
Weekend requirement: 1 weekend shift per 6-week schedule.
Description: We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse for a general
operating room team. The position involves working with adult and
geriatric patients. The daily census includes approximately 60
cases. The nurse will be responsible for various special procedures
including total joints, spine, craniotomy, free flaps, cyto
reduction, bariatric procedures, and ENT/OMF. Candidates must
possess skills in handling general OR cases. Travelers will need to
complete facility-specific compliance modules. RTO is not permitted
during the first two weeks of the assignment and must be included
at the time of submission. No more than 7 days of RTO will be
allowed per contract. Clinical review will be conducted on all
submissions. Travelers are expected to have references from two
supervisors. All employees are required to have a flu vaccine; no
