Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,443 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state required Certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS required Must-Have: BSN highly desired, Cerner experience required Description: The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that treats a variety of patients. Emergency Department nurses manage critical care skills, including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. Patients range from urgent care cases to psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients. Nurses coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality. The role promotes a positive patient experience while managing a 1:5 patient ratio in high-stakes situations. Travelers must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN.
