Job Description:
Locum to Perm - Physician - Invasive Cardiology Join our
dedicated team of healthcare professionals at a leading hospital in
Richmond, Virginia, offering a comprehensive cardiac care program.
This facility provides a unique blend of inpatient and outpatient
services with a strong focus on patient-centered care. We are
seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist to support our
growing practice, especially during the recruitment of a second
physician. Job Responsibilities Provide patient care in various
settings including inpatient, call, outpatient, and clinic. Overall
call ratio of 1:6 and participate in night & weekend call on a
rotating basis. Supervise and support four Advanced Practice
Clinicians (APCs). Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) as a part of
patient diagnosis and treatment. Manage an average of 10 clinic
patients and 12-15 inpatient admissions per day. Collaborate with
fellow cardiologists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications Must be Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certified.
Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Completed an AHF Fellowship with LVAD experience. Valid and active
Virginia medical license required. Must have a clean background for
consideration of Temporary positions. Local candidates preferred,
as only mileage will be reimbursed. License and Certification

registration REQUIRED Active Virginia medical license REQUIRED
