Sterile Processing Tech Location: Olney, MD Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $1,300 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role ensures all instruments and supplies are properly prepared and maintained to support safe and efficient patient care. Requirements Qualifications & Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician (hospital setting preferred). Certification: Required: CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CBSPD certification. Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and infection prevention standards.
