Washington, Washington DC, 20060! Job Title: SICU RN Profession:
Registered Nurse Specialty: SICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Must have a valid
state license in hand to apply Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must-Have: Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. 2 years of
experience required. Auto offer with ability for manager interview
if necessary. Every other weekend and every other holiday are
required. First-timers accepted. Open to accommodating block
schedule based on unit needs. Description: We are seeking a
Registered Nurse for the SICU specialty. Candidates should have a
minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. The nurse to
patient ratio is 1:2. Candidates will float within the scope to
meet facility needs. Weekend coverage is required on an every other
week basis. Experience with trauma level I is preferred. Candidates
should have experience in surgical intensive care unit settings.
Skills such as managing ventilated patients and administering IV
sedation are necessary. Relevant experience in managing patients
with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure is preferred.
Familiarity with charting systems is beneficial. This position is
