Weekly Salary: $1740 - $1860 Registered Nurse Qualifications -
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Virginia or compact state) -
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required before first
shift - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification –
required before first shift - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg
bedside clinical experience - Strong clinical assessment,
documentation, and communication skills Med/Surg RN
Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and
develop individualized care plans for medical-surgical patients -
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care following hospital
protocols and safety standards - Supervise and mentor Licensed
Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and
new staff - Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and
patient responses in the electronic health record - Collaborate
with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
during team conferences - Initiate discharge planning and patient
education from admission - Maintain a safe environment for patients
and staff, adhering to hospital safety policies - Promote a
positive, team-oriented unit culture and contribute to team
building - Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after
orientation - Engage in ongoing professional development and
