Hours per Week: 36 - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1740 - $1860
Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license (Virginia or compact state) - BLS Certification (required
prior to first shift) - ACLS Certification (required prior to first
shift) - Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience in
Med/Surg or acute care - Strong communication, teamwork, and
clinical support skills Med/Surg RN Responsibilities - Perform
comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours
of admission - Develop individualized care plans with patients,
families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams - Accurately
document assessments, interventions, and patient responses -
Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and deliver direct
patient care using the nursing process - Initiate discharge
planning and provide patient education from admission - Communicate
changes in patient status to care team members for continuity and
safety - Supervise and guide Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified
Nursing Assistants, and orientees - Maintain a safe clinical
environment by following hospital safety policies and procedures -
Contribute to unit teamwork and participate in team-building
activities - Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after
orientation - Engage in ongoing professional development and
