Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CCU - Coronary Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift 3x12.0/n/n Assignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Day Shift, 3x12 hour shifts. /n/nJob Description/n The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring adherence to the nursing care plan. As a key player, the RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants while fostering a culture focused on patient and employee safety. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans. /n - Identify patient teaching needs and collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. /n - Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record. /n - Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and provide direct patient care using the nursing process. /n - Initiate discharge planning and patient education proactively from the day of admission. /n - Communicate patient status changes to ensure continuity of care and safety. /n - Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing staff, effectively utilizing problem-solving techniques. /n - Contribute positively to the unit's environment through calm direction and team-building activities. /n - Ensure personal and environmental safety in accordance with nursing policies and procedures. /n - Assume charge responsibilities when requested following the orientation period. /n - Engage in professional development and continuing education activities. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - BLS Certification required before the first shift. /n - ACLS Certification required before the first shift (for certain positions). /n - Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
