Job Description:
A reputable hospital in Virginia is actively seeking a NICU
Registered Nurse to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent
position where the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit RN will be a
direct-hire employee of the health system.

Registered Nurse will work for a 300+ bed facility known for both
their acute care hospital and rehab center. This award winning

The NICU Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care in the
15+ Level III NICU. The hospital's NICU provides a 24/7
comprehensive care team of professionals including Neonatologists,
Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, specialized nurses with many holding
their RN-NIC certification, Respiratory Therapists, Social Workers,
Audiology, Occupational and Physical Therapist, Development
Specialist, Lactation Consultants and more.
Responsibilities of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit RN will
include assessing, evaluating, monitoring, and treating patients in
the NICU department. Additionally, the NICU Registered Nurse will
serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families,
and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly
specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff
allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
when developing individualized patient care treatment plans.
Ideally, the NICU nurse will hold or be willing to obtain their
Virginia or compact multi-state registered nurses license, and have
previous direct patient care experience working in a Level III or
Level IV NICU unit
The NICU Registered Nurse will work for a hospital located in
Virginia, in an area that is easily commutable from the suburbs of
Virginia, Maryland, or Washington DC. With a great work-life
