Job Title: Registered Nurse Labor and DeliveryInova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team at Inova Alexandria Hospital.Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting, with a strong preference for 2+ years of L&D experience.Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner, incorporating differences into the provision of care.
• Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others, utilizing an integrated approach toward patient outcomes.
• Serve as an empowering body to influence patient empowerment, and successful outcomes of financial and clinical quality, through relationships and access-based knowledge.Requirements:
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.
  • Proficient in English, strong verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
  • Values team collaboration.
