Job Title: Registered Nurse Labor and DeliveryInova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Inova Alexandria Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Registered Nurse in our Labor and Delivery unit, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication.Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Benefits:
