Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a PRN (as needed) night shift RN for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Prior NICU RN experience is required. Prefer 2+ years of NICU nursing experience.

Inova Alexandria Hospital (IAH) offers a newly renovated, 16-bed, Level III NICU. Newborns who are premature or have special needs are well care for around the clock in out centered NICU by specially trained, board-certified neonatologists as well as specialized nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and nutritionists.

  • Certification - Basic Life Support;For Infusion Center, obtain chemo card within 3 months of hire
  • Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, 1 year of specialty RN experience if required by unit Education:
    
    BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
    • If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
    • BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from American Heart Association (AHA)
      RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
