Overview:Licensed Therapist - Adolescent Mental HealthSalary: $75,000 - $90,000 a year (DOE)Location: 7809 Schelhorn Rd, Alexandria VA 23306Are you ready to create joy and heal generations? Embark Behavioral Health is opening a brand new adolescent residential treatment center in Alexandria, VA, and we want you on our team!As Licensed Mental Health Therapist, youll collaborate with your team to discuss client progress and strategies, develop and implement personalized treatment plans, and provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions at our short-term residential home. You will utilize relational and systemic modalities, along with experiential therapy to create a holistic approach that supports clients in processing emotions, strengthening relationships, and developing effective coping strategies. End each day by documenting progress and planning for the next day, knowing you've made a meaningful impact.This is a great opportunity to be part of the excitement of opening a new center, helping design the clinical program and everything that goes along with that!We're dedicated to reducing adolescent anxiety, depression, and suicide rates. At Embark, you'll find a supportive environment where empathy, trust, and service are paramount.Responsibilities:Manageable caseloads to establish good rapport with clientsEnsure compliance with treatment standards through required notes and MTPMeet program goals through outcomes testing and standardsOversee program completion and discharge requirements for all studentsConduct case management, including treatment care planning, discharge planning, and aftercare planningCoach clients on community reintegrationProvide individual, group, and family therapyCollaborate with an experienced clinical team for best client outcomesQualifications:What do you bring to this position?Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) or a related discipline.Fully licensed in Virginia.Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalentStrong clinical skills with a commitment to evidence-based practices, preferredPassion for counseling teens and young adults struggling with mental health issuesAbility to incorporate clinical diagnostic and assessment instruments to monitor client progress and treatment outcomesExperience in residential settings and relational, experiential, and systemic modalities, preferredBenefits:As a therapist, you will enjoy the following benefits:Become the Best of the Best: Access to an established Mastery Program that offers unparalleled opportunities for professional growth with financial incentives attached for completing.Proven Positive Outcomes: Youll have the satisfaction of knowing that your work is making a tangible difference in young adults and adolescents lives.
