We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAt Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, we are looking for a compassionate and reliable registered nurse in our Labor Delivery Recovery Post-Partum unit to organize and prioritize nursing care for LDRP patients. In this role, you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. We are an amazing, hardworking team who is looking for a phenomenal addition to our team. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today! - You will care for patients requiring fetal assessment/fetal monitoring - On our team, you will be responsible for managing the patient's pain including epidurals and patient controlled analgesia - You will encourage Family Centered Care - On our team, you will guide and be a resource for new employees - You will have expert knowledge for supporting mothers who breastfeed - Instructing and educating patients and families is a daily responsibility Requirements
  • Must hold a current license from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact license with eligibility to practice in Virginia
  • ADN degree (BSN preferred)
  • BLS certification
  • At least one year of L&D experience
  • Knowledge of antepartum and intrapartum nursing along with postpartum couplet care
