The Oncology Nurse Educator will work at a 300+ bed facility known for both their acute care hospital and rehab center. Reporting to the Director of Education, the Oncology Nurse Educator will oversee oncology nursing education, including new-hire orientation, training, and managing the preceptor program. The Oncology Nurse Educator will also update policy procedures, ensure regulatory compliance, and cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Ideally the Oncology Nurse Educator will hold their ONCC, ONS, APHON, OCN, CPHON, CBCN, BMTCN, AOCNP, AOCNS, CPON, AOCN certification, along with recent oncology experience, and ideally some educator, preceptor, management, or nurse navigator experience. The Oncology Nurse Educator is also required to hold their RN license. Come work for a hospital located in the greater Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia region.
