We provide cost-effective outpatient services using modern, state-of-the-art technology in a friendly and caring environment by highly-skilled, compassionate staff serving the Washington DC Metro area.HOURS:5X8 7am - 3:30pm JOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking an experienced OR nurse to provide quality patient care. In this role, responsibilities include:Circulating and scrubbing for surgical proceduresProviding communication between team members in the surgical field and persons outside the operating roomMaintaining sterile environment during the surgical procedureConducting and documenting sponge/sharps and instrument counts as required during the surgical procedureCompleting intra-operative documentation of the procedureActing as the patient's advocate during his/her stay in the operating roomAssisting with room turnover, including disposal of trash and linen, cleaning of OR table and floor, assembly and opening of sterile suppliesEXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:Current RN license in the state of Virginia1-2 years of operating room nursing experience preferred, circulating and scrubbingCPR Certification required, ACLS within 6 months of hireBENEFITS package is effective on date of hire and includes:401k Retirement plan with company matchAll Inova Surgery Center employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or must receive approval under the COVID-19 Vaccination Exemption Policy."Inova Health System Job ID .
