  Job Responsibilities
  Our Geriatric Nursing Assistants in Cambridge, and all over South Maryland, get to choose shifts amongst nursing homes and assisted living facilities with job responsibilities that include:

  • Comforting residents and providing for their daily well-being with basic nursing care.
    
  • Taking resident vital signs and reporting on their overall medical condition.
    
  • Assisting residents with self-care activities such as hygiene, eating, and bathing.
    
  • Supporting patient mobility with basic movements, position changes, and range of motion exercises.
    
  • Ensuring that resident living areas are clean and sanitized.
    
  • Offering emotional support and companionship.
    
  • Aiding staff with medical equipment and procedures as needed.
    Compensation and Work Hours
    As a W2 employer, IntelyCare provides its GNAs with employee benefits as well as shifts with rates that are 25% higher on average. Here's a quick rundown of some of the compensation perks you could expect:

          Qualifications and Skills
          
          • 
            
          • Applicable Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification (required)
            
          • Work experience as a GNA (preferred)
            
          • Experience with residents in post-acute or long-term care settings (preferred)
            
          • Basic knowledge and understanding of medical and nursing terminology
            
          • Effective communication skills
