About Harmony Animal Hospital : We have been on quite a journey since we opened our clinic in September 2019 and became the first Fear Free Certified clinic in Northern Virginia! We opened with the owner-doctor and 4 support staff. We thrived during the COVID 19 pandemic and grew our staff to now include 3 doctors and 13 support staff! We exist to create a nurturing environment where we strengthen the bond between pets and their families through education and compassion. At the core of our work is our values. You'll not only love helping pets but you will play well with people also! We are quite busy so we need someone who is a fast paced learner and go-getter. We need someone with charisma who can build trusting relationships. You will be someone who can greet clients and pets with a cheery smile on their face and practice great medicine. You'll most likely be someone who likes to learn as well as help others grow. We do have clear guidelines and expectations about how we work together as a team, and we do work hard-but we are not looking for someone who will work themselves into the ground. The last thing we want is for any of our team to burnout, so we need you to be aware of how to take care of yourself as well. We are looking for a Full Time Associate Veterinarian 35-40 hours per week: Monday-Friday and alternating Saturdays. During your work days you will be seeing appointments, performing surgeries, dentals and extractions. Communication with clients is a given. You will be educating clients & using our Fear Free techniques with our patients. You will be teaching our staff so they may grow, and many other exciting things to vary your days!
