Emergency Medicine opening in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Envision Physician Services and Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center are seeking Full time and Part time EM Physicians to join our team at a brand new Stand Alone ER located at 5001 Plank Road. The freestanding emergency room is anticipated to open February 2023 located near the Town Center in Fredericksburg, VA. Candidates must be BC/BE via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). There are additional opportunities to work at the main campus.Emergency Department Profile:

• Projecting 8,500 Anticipated ER visits year 1, approximately 23 visits per day
• Fully integrated with Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center
• 24 hours of Physician Coverage. We will consistently look at flow and make coverage adjustments/increases as necessary
• 10,000 square feet
• 11 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped Trauma bay
• Separate adult and pediatric waiting area
• All private treatment rooms
• State of the art imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology
• Ambulance bay for EMS access
• Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists About Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center:Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited medical/surgical hospital located in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
