Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic Technical Product Manager to lead the creation and implementation of our state-of-the-art pricing engine. This role is crucial in designing, building, and optimizing our pricing capabilities to drive business growth and provide unparalleled value to our customers. With your deep technical expertise and strategic vision, you will craft a powerful, scalable, and secure pricing engine that adapts to the ever-evolving market landscape.

Job Responsibilities:

• Innovative Pricing Solutions:Spearhead the research, design, and development of an intelligent pricing engine, ensuring its robustness, scalability, and alignment with strategic business goals.
• Collaborative Requirement Gathering:Partner with Product Owners, UX Designers, and key stakeholders to gather, refine, and finalize requirements specifically for the pricing engine.
• Cloud-Based Application Development:Lead the design and development of cloud-based applications, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance pricing functionalities and efficiencies.
• AI-Driven Pricing Recommendations:Utilize AI and machine learning to develop intelligent pricing recommendations, enhancing decision-making and optimizing pricing strategies.
• Security Implementation:Champion security best practices throughout the application development lifecycle, safeguarding the pricing engine's integrity and reliability.
• Quality and Code Excellence:Oversee and actively engage in code reviews, cultivating a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Operational and Customer Support:Provide operational support for the pricing engine, efficiently managing incidents, resolving issues, and addressing customer inquiries.
• Customer Engagement:Engage directly with customers to understand their pricing needs and translate insights into actionable, competitive solutions.
• Mentorship and Team Development:Mentor junior team members, nurturing their growth and development within the organization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:Interface with technical personnel and team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive solution delivery.
• Additional Contributions:Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and evolution of our pricing capabilities.

  • Experience:7+ years in software engineering or technical product management, with a strong focus on pricing engine development and optimization.
  • Education:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Expertise in Azure, Databricks, NoSQL Databases, and a preference for exposure to JD Edwards.
    • Experience
    • Proficient in Agile Methodologies
    • Proficiency in AI and machine learning technologies to drive intelligent pricing recommendations.
    • Comprehensive understanding of cloud-based application development and lifecycle management.
    • Leadership and Communication:
      • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative work style.
      • Strong leadership abilities with the skill to motivate and manage teams through influence rather than direct authority.
      • Capacity to engage effectively with all levels of management and staff.
      • Certifications:Azure Certified Solution Architect or equivalent certification is preferred.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
