Orion Talent, the nation's largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for Service Manager positions with a company that provides a range of products and services to businesses including uniforms, mats, mops, cleaning and restroom supplies, first aid and safety products, fire extinguishers and testing, and safety courses.

Position Details
Location: Alexandria, VA
Compensation: $77K - $86K + bonus + Company phone/ computer + vehicle allowance
-total comp of $110K-$120K
Shift: M-F; with flex hours/days, depending on client needs
Travel: 10%, occasional overnight

Position Description
As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality services to clients or customers. You will oversee a team of service professionals and ensure that the team meets or exceeds customer expectations. Responsibilities will include:
--- Manage a team of service professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
--- Develop and implement service policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across the team.
--- Monitor and analyze service metrics, such as customer satisfaction, response time, and resolution time, and make recommendations for improvement.
--- Work with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that service delivery is aligned with company goals and objectives.
--- Develop and manage service budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
--- Identify and implement new technologies or processes to improve service delivery.
--- Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
--- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and mentoring to service professionals.

Position Requirements
--- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or management.
--- 3+ years of experience in service management or a related field.
--- Strong leadership and people management skills.
--- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
--- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
--- Customer-focused mindset.
--- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
