Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Radiologic Associates of
Fredericksburg is currently seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
to join their team in Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408. Who we
are:Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg is a professional
physician group providing subspecialized Diagnostic Imaging,
Vascular Surgery, and Interventional Radiology services throughout
Virginia. We are at the forefront of outpatient imaging since 1948.
We have a long history of providing the highest quality services to
the patients we serve, our referring clinicians, and the Health
Care systems with which we partner.About the role: The Chief
Executive Officer (CEO) of Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg,
Ltd (RAF) and Dominion Radiology Associates, PLLC, (DRA) and all
related corporate entities, hereafter referred to as the
"Practice", has, in conjunction with the related Board of
Directors, accountability of the current and future corporate and
strategic initiatives, operations, human and physical resources and
financial performance of the corporate entities and foundational
areas. The CEO works collaboratively with the Board of Directors
and Shareholders, health system executives, and provides executive
leadership to the Administrative Team (MIM, RAF, DRA, VMI) through
oversight, operational controls, and administrative and reporting
processes and procedures to ensure growth, financial strength, and
operating efficiencies of the corporate entities. The CEO supports
the core values of the Corporation and demonstrates a commitment to
exceptional patient-centered care and value-added services while
maintaining strict confidentiality and security of matters related
to staff and corporate entities. General Duties and
Responsibilities :Oversees the overall operations of the
Corporation to ensure that continuous quality improvement and
accurate, timely and cost-effective services are provided.Provides
visionary leadership that inspires the highest levels of
performance in the delivery of health care and business and
operational administration.Serves as liaison and channel of
communication between the Board of Directors and Executive and
Administrative Leaders, Directors, staff of the related companies,
and health system partners. Leads, mentors, develops, and evaluates
Administrative Staff in a manner that promotes engagement,
productivity, and ensures competencies. Mentors staff to increase
critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Conducts individual
and team goals, performance planning and evaluation.Administers
physician recruitment efforts on a continuous basis to attract
providers and ensure execution of Employment Agreements.Fosters
strong community relations and develops collaborative partnerships
that advance the interests of the organization and contributes to
the health and well-being of the communities served.Ensures the
implementation of policies, procedures, and monitoring that ensures
the Practice is meeting the high standards of all governmental
regulations, generally accepted health care standards, and
operational compliance.Develops a culture that emphasizes
collaboration, accountability, and performance with a shared vision
for the future, to include emphasis on employee retention,
engagement, and incentives.Maintains effective and collaborative
relationships with the medical staff and related providers that
inspire loyalty, ensures the ability to meet the health needs of
the community and advances quality, patient safety and patient
satisfaction.Strategic Initiatives:Provides leadership to the Board
of Directors in developing an effective strategic plan.Ensures
development, implementation and execution of operational plans that
ensure timely and effective achievement of strategic goals.Presents
regular reports on the status of Corporate strategies to the Board
of Directors and Shareholders, and to Administrative members.Works
with the Board of Directors, Shareholders, and the Administrative
leadership team to establish long-range goals, short-term
objectives, and related plans and policies.Provides strategic
leadership and oversight to all facets of the Corporation including
Clinical Operations, Business Services, Finance, Human Resources,
Marketing and ComplianceNegotiates with other entities regarding
actions such as mergers, acquisitions, and joint
ventures.Identifies opportunities to enhance market share and
financial position through development of partnerships,
affiliations, and growth strategies.Develops strategic partnerships
and ensures skillful negotiations that help to position the
organization for success.Corporate and Legal Matters:Ensures the
Corporations have effective Compliance Committees and Programs to
assure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations,
standards, and business ethics, including but not limited to
standards of HIPAA, HITECH, and the OIG, DOJ, OCR, and CMS.Serves
as the company's representative to the Board of Directors,
Shareholders, employees, customers, governmental agencies, and the
public.Resolves conflicts with internal and external parties by
addressing complaints within established grievance procedures and
the Corporations' legal structure to avoid or manage
litigation.Represents the Corporation in its relationships with
other health organizations, government agencies, third-party payers
and the broader community. This includes a thorough understanding
of contract negotiation/management.Executes, on behalf of the
Corporations and with consent of the Corporations' Board of
Directors, Business Agreement and Contracts, Tax Returns, and
related business documents, ensuring such documents are
sufficiently archived.Supports the Shareholders and Board of
Directors with the Governance of the Corporations, including
establishing Officers, Chairmen, and Committees in conformance with
Corporations' Bylaws and Organizing Documents.Establishes, or
causes establishment of, newly formed Corporations as approved by
the Shareholders and Boards of Directors.Financial
ManagementEnsures the financial viability of the Corporation by
overseeing revenue cycle performance and maintaining control
systems for finances and staffing.Expertise in high integrity
medical billing, ICD-10, CPT coding, Medicare, and payer
relations.Utilizes financial and analytical skills to lead, monitor
and take actions that ensure the Corporation's financial stability
and long-term success.Oversees the organization's financial
structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding for the mission and
goals of the company.Reviews the financial results of all
operations, comparing them with the company's objectives and taking
appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and
results.Ensures use of effective methods for protecting the
Corporations against fraud, theft, and financial
mismanagement.Ensures use and transparency of financial and
statistical reporting that demonstrates the historic, current, and
future performance of the Corporations.Ensures sufficient access to
funds for the Capital and Operational needs of the
Corporations.Ensures Tax Planning and Tax Reporting, Tax Payment
and Conformance with Tax Regulations are effectively managed for
the Corporations.Ensures Fiduciary management of the Corporations'
Pension and Profit Sharing Plan, working with the Plan
Administrator and the firm that provides Retirement Plan Services,
and all related internal and external parties, to create Plan
Restatements and Notifications, as well as to perform compliance
testing, and sufficiency of contributions.OperationsOversees the
ongoing operations of all Corporation entities, working with the
Board of Directors, Administrative and other staff, and
third-parties as required for successfully meeting operating goals
and budgets.Ensures that the Corporation delivers high-quality,
high satisfaction and cost-effective care.Provides executive
leadership that aligns and develops the workforce, inspires
loyalty, and promotes fulfillment of the Corporations mission,
vision and values.Assesses performance measures, assesses
accomplishments, and evaluates operations using comparative data
and applicable benchmarks.Measures Corporate performance against
targeted goals and objectives and provides regular status reports
to the Board of Directors and Shareholders.Assesses Provider and
staff relations to achieve clinical and operational goals.Supports
process improvements that enhance operational and clinical
services, outcomes, and satisfaction.Maintains an organized system
of management and controls that ensure smooth function of
operations, timely accomplishment of goals, and physical,
financial, and human resource viability and success.Provides
executive oversight of the Enterprise IT service lines to include
PACS, telecommunications, and clinical and non-clinical
technology.Qualifications and Skills:Required Key personal
qualities to include integrity, exemplary work ethic, respectful,
credibility, team-oriented, and strong commitment to corporate
mission.Bachelor's Degree in related field.Master of Business
Administration or Healthcare Administration.Five or more years
related Healthcare Administrative experience.Executive and
leadership experience in an independent Physician Practice or
CorporationDemonstrated proficiency in assessing and leading
strategic plan initiatives, budget and business plan analysis and
development. Proficient in financial management, including capital
acquisitions, billing and reimbursement, budget and business plan
analysis and development.Excellent leadership, coaching, and
critical thinking skillsProficient working with operational and
financial details including information and communication
platforms.Excellent and effective written and verbal communication
skills with the ability to articulate and persuade to achieve
consensus of common goals.Knowledge and a thorough understanding of
the health care regulatory environment. Proficient working with
Microsoft products to include Office, Excel, and
PowerPointPreferred Administrative Management experience in Medical
ImagingExperience in merger and acquisition growth
strategies.Experience in negotiating and managing third party payer
