RoleThis role will, standardize the operational system, procedures
and unify all offices at rand. Lead, develop, and establish best in
class standard operating procedures across multiple markets.
Maintain continuous lines of communication with the CEO and Board
of Directors. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous
improvement that values learning. This position reports to Director
and Partner of rand* Virginia.ABOUT rand*:rand* construction is an
award-winning, woman-owned national commercial contractor
specializing in tenant interiors, retail, and restaurants, and
building renovations (capital expenditure). Founded in 1989 by
Linda Rabbitt, rand* has grown from a small interiors firm to a
multi-market construction company offering a wide range of services
to national and regional clients. Today, rand* is headquartered in
Alexandria, VA, and manages regional offices in Atlanta, GA,
Austin, TX, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, and Salt Lake City, UT with
revenues in excess of $500 million annually. Currently, rand's
headcount is 300+ FTE and growing to accommodate the company's
expansion. To that end, the core platform services continue to grow
to support the operational lines of the business. This role will,
standardize the system, procedures and unify all offices at
rand.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:---Develop and implement business
initiatives with collaboration and assistance from the market
leaders, and department heads as reasonably necessary.---Provide
timely and accurate reports on the operating condition of the
Company on a regularly scheduled basis. ----Provide effective and
inspiring leadership by being actively involved with the Company's
platform projects, programs and services, and the teams necessary
to support those items.---Ability to identify and manage risk and
to ensure that all divisions/projects are operating within the
Company's policies and procedures. Adjust and improve policies and
procedures as needed.---Maintain continuous lines of communication
with the CEO and Board of Directors regarding the operational
status of the Company. Clearly communicate ad hoc matters with the
CEO, and Board as appropriate.---Lead, develop, and establish best
in class standard operating procedures across multiple
markets.---Analyze project accounting and project management
functions and create tools and/or systems to improve these
processes.---Identify gaps and risks to the platform due to
inconsistent procedures. Provide solutions to mitigate
risk.---Manage a committee to establish and/or improve project
operations standard operating procedures.---Evaluate software tools
across preconstruction, project management, accounting and field
operations and identify areas to standardize and improve how these
platforms are being utilized. ----Enforce each regional market
accountability to adhere to established standards and
systems.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:---Undergraduate
bachelor's degree from accredited University---Prefer MBA and
additional certifications.---Previous experience in the general
contracting business, specifically commercial interiors---Highly
proficient with project management software, scheduling software
and Microsoft Excel---Must be experienced in commercial
construction and held a role in one or multiple of the following:
preconstruction, project management, field supervision and project
accounting.---Job will require travel.---Written and verbal
communication skills---Successful track record of relevant
accomplishments---Demonstrate community
involvement.---Understanding of business functions such as HR,
Finance, Marketing, BIM and Sustainability.---Working knowledge of
data analysis and performance/ operation metrics---Working
knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure---Outstanding
organizational and leadership abilities---Excellent interpersonal
and public speaking and written skills ----Aptitude in
decision-making and problem-solving---Demonstrated experience as a
change agent.---Highly proficient in systems and process
development/management---Problem solver can diagnose complex
operations/finance issues and present streamlined solutions.---Tech
savvy, understand construction tech and industry-wide systems and
standards.---Ideally has engineering background / high business
acumen and business admin experience.---Highly disciplined, does
not just conceptualize solutions but drives for results.PHYSICAL

Virginia office, with travel nationally to various rand* offices as
