Job Description:

Echelon Insights is hiring a Research Director to drive research strategy, deliver customized insights to our clients using our suite of data analytics products and services, as well as manage day to day client relationships. Our Research Directors coordinate with our senior-most staff to execute qualitative and quantitative projects from start to finish - from proposal to research design and development to analysis and presentation of research results. The ideal candidate will merge creative design ability with quantitative data skills, using every tool at their disposal to paint a holistic picture of the trends facing our clients. Echelon Research Directors are adept at quantitative and qualitative research and have a well-developed skill set working with data using a variety of tools. -Echelon Insights is a decision strategy firm that blends innovative survey research techniques with data science and digital analytics to help our clients win the battle for hearts and minds. Manage all aspects of the research process from start to finish, including drafting proposals, overseeing logistics, executing timeline, developing a research design, data - analysis/visualization and presenting to clientsOwn day to day client relationships through regular communication and by creating research designs aimed at delivering value against client needs and budgetsTranslate conceptual research design into actionable methodology that drives insights and value for clientsIndependently develop questionnaires and moderator guidesPerform essential data wrangling, processing, and transformationWrite, edit, and present written or visual deliverables based on Echelon data productsOwnership over the quality and professionalism of client deliverables -Delegate work to research analysts and provide work feedback and training constantly -Requirements:

4+ years of experience in an academic or professional, client facing research settingExperience in political polling, market research, or consumer insightsData-driven and a strong desire to work with numbersStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize across multiple projectsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailPrior experience with statistical software like R, SPSS, or STATA a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and KeynoteEchelon Insights provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, veteran status, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
