Part Time Assistant Manager from Tuesday - Sunday ,store closed

Follows the values, mission and culture of Botanic Cafe;
responsible for building sales and controlling costs to deliver
optimum business results for all areas of accountability including
daily operating procedures such as store inventory, cash-handling,
staff development and team member supervision.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Recruit, interview, hire and develop team members that exemplify
Botanic Cafe culture and values and deliver on the operational
standards of excellence. Conduct performance appraisals, coaching,
counseling, motivating, and recognition activities to retain and
develop the cafe team.
Control the day to day operations by scheduling & managing labor,
ordering food products and supplies according to the business needs
and while controlling waste.
Build sales plans by utilizing marketing strategies along with
community involvement. Create and execute Local Store Marketing and
execute promotional campaigns throughout the fiscal year.
Maintain cash security procedures, monitor daily open and closing
Maintain standards for guest service, speed and quality. Ensure the
guests are greeted and serviced according to company standards
Supervise baristas behind the coffee bar to ensure that espresso
drinks, brewed coffees, pastries, etc., are prepared according to
established company recipes and procedures.
Supervise Kitchen to ensure that all dishes are prepared and plated
according to established company recipes and procedures.
Perform inventory counts on stock items according to inventory
schedule, research overages/shortages, and take corrective action
Ensure that store equipment, store appearance, facilities and
merchandise displays are maintained.
Ensure compliance with local health and safety codes and company
safety and security procedures.
Offer suggestions to management regarding improvements in all areas
Act as a leader and provider of information for team members with
regard to company policies/procedures, training/development and
Responsible for final store authority with regard to personnel
issues (hiring, termination, performance management.)
Responsible for training and orientation of team members via
instructor-facilitated and video assisted programs.
Resolves issues related to customer service, staff, systems,
inventory and ordering.
