Anyone unable to be vaccinated, either because of a religious belief or a disability can request a reasonable accommodation.Job PurposeThe -Cloud Product Management Director owns the overall business success of the -Cloud at National Grid -and reports to the VP -of Cloud and Hosting. - The customers of these platforms -are -both US and UK based application teams which represent the various -gas and electric energy business units of National Grid. - Key partners and stakeholders include a peer organization of -Cloud -Product Engineers, -Application Solution Architects, Marketing and -Communications Specialists, -divisional CIOs and Finance Business Partners. - -The ideal candidate -for this role -has -extensive -experience -in marketing, selling, delivering, and operating Enterprise-scale cloud environments, -and -possesses excellent communication and presentation skills -to both technical and executive levels. -Significant experience either directly in product management or sales engineering is strongly preferred. -Key AccountabilitiesSet strategy and define roadmap in conjunction with Cloud Product Architecture and Engineering team -Manage -the product throughout its entire lifecycle beyond launch including renovation, innovation and retirement strategies -Develop and track key KPIs for Product success measurement -Refine the Cloud DevOps Operating model -Cloud Financial Optimization -through tooling such as -Turbonomic -Capex and -Opex -budget identification and management -Oversight of product financials, OKR and KPI metrics, ROI and TCO. -Optimization of -service and software provider financials -Define and drive consistent internal marketing communications -Work with Communications and Business Enablement teams to develop materials and deliver training to educate and drive adoption of the products and services -Develop NPS and Customer Experience -through techniques such as customer journey maps -Work with architecture, product engineering, product owners, and delivery functions to provide end-to-end product experienceUnderstand -business needs, and translate to product epics and MVP ( Agile) and business outcomes; or technical requirements (waterfall/phase-gate development)Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required

  • Communicate progress on initiatives, including progress toward -strategic -goals and risks, to stakeholders -and leaderships -teams -Represent the team with cross-functional partners and senior company leaders in order to align resources and prioritization. -
  • Convey confidence and professionalism, positively influencing and persuading others to take a specific course of action when there is no direct line of command or control.
  • Provide insight -into innovations and market trends that will deliver value to the business -
  • Be a champion of the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible - -Qualifications
    • Bachelor 's degree in technology, business, or related field
    • 5+ years in technical product management, sales engineering, product engineering or relevant technology development experience
    • Demonstrated experience with regular senior executive communications and presentations
    • Direct experience with Microsoft Azure strongly preferred
    • Experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, platform-as-a-service, enterprise, and/or internal tools
    • Experience in one or more of the following: cloud infrastructure, big data, security and privacy, or development and operations. -
    • Experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs where you have the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your goals
    • Ability to communicate complex and innovative concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Clear passion for topics of technology products and an ability to identify possibilities to innovate in our product space
