Full Time , Day Shift , 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, M - F JOB DESCRIPTION
DETAILS Job Summary : Responsible for executive level leadership of
staff within the Human Resources Department and related areas
including employee health, community wellness, and education and
training to achieve long- and short-term department goals and
objectives that are aligned with the organization's vision and
business strategies. Collaborates with key decision-makers and
leaders within the organization to ensure successful
organization-wide programs and policies within human resources and
related areas of oversight, oversees consultant and vendor
relationships and contract negotiations, formulates and defines
department budgets, oversees the development of employment policies
and procedures that reduce litigation risk, and initiates programs
to attract, retain and develop qualified personnel. Education :
Position requires a Master's in Human Resources, Business
Administration, or related field.
Registration/Certification/Licensure : PHR, SPHR, or related
certification, preferred Experience : Position requires 10+ years
of progressive leadership experience in addition to: In-depth
knowledge about Human Resource processes and best practices,
employment legislation, and legal regulations Understanding and
experience with Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing
strategies In-depth knowledge of all aspects of HR management and
experience using HRIS systems and recruiting software Other
Requirements : Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies,
mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in
accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057
and/or any other department requirements. Demonstrated proficiency
of computer skills necessary to effectively complete position
requirements to include Microsoft Office applications with an
emphasis on Excel, Access, Word and Outlook. Previous experience
and demonstrated professionalism in effectively communicating with
internal and external customers and in promoting a positive work
atmosphere. Ability to work independently, prioritize concurrent
projects, meet deadlines, follow through with deliverables, and
produce quality work. Demonstrated critical thinking and
problem-solving skills. Ability to serve as a team player and
change-agent.
