Job Description:

Reingold, a full-service marketing and communications firm in Alexandria, Virginia, is offering an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on, experienced digital project manager to determine project requirements and to direct team strategies for client campaigns. We're looking for the usual things: intelligence, creativity, experience, management acumen, and rave reviews. But we're also looking for much more: initiative, willingness to work hard and think hard, commitment to the team, practical perfectionism, a sense of humor, discipline, and eagerness to chart unfamiliar territory. As a digital project manager, you will join a team of professionals working in web design, web development, user experience and information architecture, and search engine optimization. You will manage timelines, budgets, and technical requirements, working with the larger team to deliver web products. This full-time position demands a versatile self-starter with a strong intellect, initiative, reliability, and top-flight communication skills. It's a great opportunity for a professional with a background in enterprise-level deployments for government and commercial clients to join our interdisciplinary team of developers, designers, and analysts. This position requires a hybrid set of skills, spanning the project manager and business analyst roles. Required qualifications include the following:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective and engaging communication skills in both internal and external (client-facing) settings.
  • Creative and analytical thinking skills, including the ability to anticipate and identify opportunities (and threats) and develop a plan to pursue (or avoid) them.
  • Extensive experience in agile and Scrum practices at an agency, product company, or software development shop.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Experience running projects within state and local government agencies or highly regulated industries.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance. Experience with web-based projects and with the Atlassian suite is a plus. Responsibilities include the following:
    • Work with clients to gather and document project requirements.
    • Evaluate requirements and translate research findings into strategic recommendations for clients.
    • Manage day-to-day budgeting, task assignments, and communication with internal teams and the client.
    • Guide an interdisciplinary team (of designers, developers, and analysts) on agile and Scrum practices.
    • Help create a product backlog and shape user stories.
    • Work with the digital team to develop product road maps.
    • Support client product owners in prioritizing the product backlog.
    • Identify and remove roadblocks internally as well as with clients and third-party vendors.
    • Ensure quality across all phases of a project. Reingold offers creative freedom, a supportive work environment, and challenging assignments. Salary is commensurate with experience.
