Responsibilities: Work alongside the T&E team to make sure
the systems are operating properly, and the test team has all
necessary information and documentation required to perform testing
and software/hardware updates. Support the PMA APMSE/Class Desk.
Review vendor documents, upgrade planning, troubleshoot system
issues, Node installation locations, and coordination of activities
with PMA and vendor. Responsible for the design of the
Hardware/Software configuration matrix on feedback provided by the
vendor and PMA. Apply and integrate engineering principles to
investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or
evaluate military C-UAS systems. Review and prepare engineering and
technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical
documentation. Apply engineering experience to perform functions
such as system integration, configuration management, QA testing,
or acquisition and resource management. Analyze, design, develop,
implement, test, or evaluate software, components, or systems
related to engineering or functional requirements of military C-UAS
systems, and associated support systems, or management information
systems. Leads the execution of complex tasks. Document reviews
from vendor on software updates. Inform test team of significant
changes so they can develop test methodology to cover deltas.
Determine when testing can continue after issues arise or needs to
be stopped due to system issues. Determination on node location for
optimum performance. Work with test team to identify and report
issues, suggested improvements, and track status with
PMA/Vendors/Test Team. Routinely assess system health/status and
report findings to test team. Coordinate and execute IA scans and
other systems engineering work at WOLF. Maintain HW/SW
configuration matrix of installed systems. Coordinate with
vendors/PMA when system maintenance/troubleshooting is required.
Education: MS degree from an accredited university in Computer
Engineering. Allowable Substitution: Bachelor`s Degree in Computer
Engineering with ten (10) to fourteen (14) years of experience in
Computer Engineering Experience: Six (6) to ten (10) years
experience in Computer Engineering. Other: An Active Secret
Security Clearance is required.
