Job Description:

SUPPORT CENTER MANAGER (VDept-21-0122-F): Bowhead seeks a Support Center Manager to provide customer support and technical assistance by: --- Guiding and leading team members to deliver products and services that meet or exceed customer requirements. --- Manage and train resources to ensure quality and consistency of service to customers. --- Maintain complete and accurate customer correspondence data. Requirements The Support Center Manager should have five (5) years of experience in IT services at a complex site (i.e., more than 100 computer systems running multiple operating systems) with five (5) years of demonstrated experience leading a team. o Using a ticket tracking system for tracking customer issues, resolution, ticket status, and providing metrics for line management. o Providing daily supervision and direction to staff who are responsible for phone and in-person IT support to users. o Ensuring Support Center staff performance, quality, and productivity. o Planning and directing activities that provide customer services solutions and IT support. o Encouraging continuous improvement, involving others in planned process improvement efforts and measures, and encouraging individuals to follow a systematic improvement process. o Giving technical and informational presentations, writing advanced documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). o Adapting to emerging technologies. o Professional and effective communication skills (both verbal and written) and problem resolution skills between customers, team members, and line management. o Independent problem solving skills, self-motivation and self-direction. o Interacting with support services outside of the organization (such as the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) o Must currently hold a DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical Level II or higher certification SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. ship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
