that ensures uninterrupted production of compost, mulch, and soil
products. This role plays a key part in preventing breakdowns,
reducing repair costs, and improving operational efficiency. How

Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician II is a mid-level role
responsible for independently handling plant maintenance tasks,
troubleshooting issues, and managing parts and repair schedules.
This role ensures the long-term health and reliability of
production equipment. Key Responsibilities: Perform regular
preventive maintenance on conveyors, motors, screens, and heavy
equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and
minor electrical issues. Prioritize repair needs and communicate
status with management. Maintaining MaintainX systems and managing
inventory levels. Oversee and coordinate with subcontractors when
necessary. Support training and development of entry-level
maintenance team members. Perform other duties as assigned by
supervisor May be asked to travel regionally (up to 25%) to support
maintenance projects at other sites. Qualifications: High school
diploma or equivalent; technical training required 2 years of
industrial or mobile equipment maintenance experience. Maintaining
a valid Driver's License Strong understanding of mechanical
systems, including hydraulics. Basic welding (MIG) and electrical
repair experience. Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and
equipment schematics Experience with CMMS systems and ability to
maintain a preventative maintenance schedule Ability to work
independently and maintain accurate records Physical Demands: The

and training. Work Environment: Work is conducted in both indoor
and outdoor areas of the facility. Employees may be exposed to
dust, dirt, mud, loud noise, strong odors, heavy machinery in
proximity, and potentially extreme weather conditions. Terrain may
be uneven, soft, or shifting. Low/variable lighting and slip, trip,
or fall hazards should be expected. Appropriate personal protective
equipment (PPE), including safety harness, hard hat,
high-visibility apparel, safety footwear, gloves, safety glasses,
and issued lighting devices, will be provided and must be worn as
