Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a highly skilled and motivated Cloud - Network Engineer (Cloud Networking, Associate) to join our team. The Hybrid Cloud/Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining hybrid cloud solutions and network infrastructure that meets the needs of our Federal Government client on-site at the Patuxent River, MD location. The ideal candidate should have experience in both cloud computing and network engineering.
Responsibilities

• Build and maintain solutions that integrate on-premise and cloud-based DoD environments.
• Develop and implement strategies for hybrid cloud infrastructure security, monitoring, and backup and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new hybrid cloud-based applications and services.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and make recommendations on their integration into the existing environment.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Implement automation and scripting to streamline hybrid cloud infrastructure management and network configuration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hybrid cloud infrastructure and network infrastructure.
• Monitor and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructure performance and costs.
• Maintain and update hybrid cloud and network infrastructure documentation. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7 years experience as a Cloud or Network Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud computing concepts and principles.
  • Experience with the AWS Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of private cloud environments and virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure and security, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Clearance

    Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $95,000 - $150,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
