Job Description:

The System Integration Team supporting the US Army's Integrated Personnel and Pay System (IPPS-A) is looking for a Data Engineer - Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) who will be responsible for performing installation, configuration, testing and supporting activities related to the design and functionality of ESB. The program's ESB includes but is not limited to Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Managed File Transfer (MFT), and Kafka Confluent Platform and their integration. In addition, as the Data Engineer - Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) you will actively participate in integrated product team meetings providing the necessary knowledge and guidance to ensure the selected ESB is implemented, configured, and deployed successfully. To be successful, you will be fluent with a variety of data models from business systems planning and data requirements planning and will have experience in designing web services with optimal security and performance. You will also have a thorough understanding of the leading ESB solutions in the industry and will understand in detail the integration of the chosen ESB with the components of a specified technology stack.
