Network Engineer Security Clearance Required: Interim Secret/Secret US Citizenship Required Location: Quantico, VA Position Summary: The Network Engineer will provide support for the engineering of networks and data centers for the Marine Corp University. Summary of Position Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist the Network Lead in research and validation of network baseline in preparation for redesign.
  
  
• 
  Analyze current network configuration in order to identify weaknesses and recommended corrections.
  
  
• 
  Validate and recommend changes to the network design for the planned expansion of existing MCU networks and data centers.
  
  
• 
  Coordinate with the IA Task Lead to incorporate required IA controls into network and data center design and provide information security for MCU networks.
  
  
• 
  Determine capacity requirements for the network and data center expansion, to include the new academic facility, to allow for proper design of server room and network infrastructure.
  
  
• 
  Provide assistance with the implementation of identity management, enterprise search, and improvements to customer service operations.
  
  
• 
  Installation of new hardware and software that is procured as a result of the design process.
  
  
• 
  Assist network and data center operations personnel from Task 1 in implementing changes to the network and data center infrastructure, including familiarization with new technology introduced in the infrastructure.
  
  
  Essential Skills, Experience, and Certifications:

  • 
    As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C), Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions.
    
    
  • 
    Must have DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification or Higher (CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, CND, Security+ CE, CCNA Security or GSEC)
    
    
  • 
    Must also have a current Cisco CCNA Certification
    
    
  • 
    Experience with Cisco Routing and Switching.
    
    
  • 
    Experience with networks that utilize Windows Server 2008 R2 - Server 2012/2016.
    
    
  • 
    Experience with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    
    
  • 
    Demonstrated leadership, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    
    
  • 
    Strong team player; self-assured, confident, and goal-oriented.
    
    
  • 
    Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively.
    
    
  • 
    Ability to solve problems and translate policies into daily routine operations.
