OverviewAxient is seeking Junior Engineering Technicians (IV) with Top Secret Clearance to join our teamResponsibilities

• Provides engineering and technical support for reliability, maintainability, testability, quality assurance, diagnostic and system safety analyses during the design, development, production and in-service cycles of all Naval aircraft and their systems.
• This support encompasses carrier based tactical aircraft, shipboard capable vertical/short takeoff and landing aircraft, maritime support aircraft, unmanned aircraft, tactical weapons systems, support systems and equipment and aircraft launch and recovery equipment.
• Performs tasks under supervision
• Applies engineering techniques, principles and precedents to develop, design,modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament/ordnance, or related data processing systems for military weapon systems or associated support equipment or components.
• Reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares or applies engineering, technical or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures.
• Organizes, analyzes, and prepares reports or presentations of technical data and information.
• Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components.Compiles, processes, reduces, or analyzes test data results.QualificationsEducation:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Completion of a technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technicalschool curriculum or course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments/ordnance, or engineering technology; or completion of at least 30 semester hours of course studies at an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum.
  • Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance Experience:
    • At least three (3) years of experience in performing engineering technician functions in aircraft, weapons systems, or aircraft support equipment with relevant experience in aircraft operating principles, theory, skills, and activities related to his/her area of technical specialty is applicable.
