SENIOR RF ENGINEER (DETO-21-1111-W):
Bowhead is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to support the on-going
mission-set at the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Dahlgren Division
(NSWCDD). The Senior RF Engineer will support and design training
programs, assist with test and measurements, and will support
multiple programs utilizing various technical department assets.
Qualified Senior RF Engineers should have experience in the
planning, designing, and overseeing of various engineering projects
on a variety of platforms (land, air, sea, unmanned). Knowledge of
RF equipment, RF test and measurements, Laser systems, and general
mechanical knowledge is paramount to success in this position.
Requirements
In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID

aware that they may be required to have received or be willing to

--- Five (5) years experience in design, development and
implementation of analog and digital hardware and software related
to RF systems.
--- Three (3) years experience in the areas of signal generation,
vacuum devices, high powered RF systems, digital signal processing,
bench and/or system level testing of electronics components for
U.S. Navy/Joint DE systems including pulsed power, RF, Radar, EW,
Laser, and CIED systems and components.
--- Experience with RF system and platform integration is highly
desirable.
--- Bachelors of Science in Engineering preferred.
--- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
and outside contacts
--- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability
to work alone or as part of a team
--- Shipboard testing, testing within anechoic and other lab
chambers, and customized test set-ups and designs highly
desired.
--- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office
software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
--- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability
to work alone or as part of a team.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security
clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a
requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
