At ManTech International Corporation, you ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Engineer/Scientist, Junior to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD .This position supports the Government R&M engineering team working with PMA-262. Participation in the review and evaluation of analysis and design documents for technical adequacy, compliance with specification, and established design practices. Will initiate/draft correspondence for approving or disapproving the analyses & drawings and communicate corrective actions to be taken as instructed by the government engineering team. Attends meetings, contributes to briefings presented to DOD, NAVAIRSYSCOM, and NAWC officials and Program Managers (PMs) by Government team members.Attends and may participate as part of the R&M Engineering team at technical meetings, systems program reviews, engineering mock-ups, and Maintenance and Engineering INspections, Production Readiness Review, and Mileston reviews. May contribute technical input during meetings. Collaborates with contractor, government technical personnel on system development and/or modification.Basic Qualifications:Qualified candidates shall have a BS or BA degree in aerospace/aeronautical engineering. Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or mathematics discipline.One to five years engineering experience is desired.Security Clearance Requirements:To hold or obtain a US Government Security Clearance. Candidates must have a Secret security clearance to being work.Physical Requirements:Sit, stand, walk and talkFor all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
