Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contracted
Speech-Language Pathologist with certification of Clinical
Competence (SLP-CCC) is needed to provide comprehensive services in
a K-12 school setting in Hopewell, VA. This role serves students
across PreK-12th grades, managing a caseload of 35-45 clients
spread across three schools on one campus and an additional private
school. The position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week,
starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year.
Key responsibilities include: Delivering assessment and therapy
services to students with speech and language disorders
Collaborating with educators and families to support individualized
education plans Providing teletherapy and onsite services as needed
Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
Participating in team meetings to coordinate care and educational
support Desired qualifications and experience: Certification of
Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association (ASHA) Experience in school-based speech-language
pathology Familiarity with pediatric caseloads and teletherapy
delivery Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to
manage multiple caseloads efficiently across different school
