Construction provides executive-level oversight and leadership for
JANSON’s Buildings & Environments and Dining Facilities (DFACs)
programs. This role is responsible for the successful execution of
multi-site renovation and modernization projects across domestic
and international locations, ensuring excellence in safety,
schedule, cost, quality, and mission continuity. Serving as
JANSON’s senior construction execution leader, the Director of
Construction represents the company to General Contractors,
installation leadership, and internal stakeholders. This role
ensures standardized execution, strong contractor performance,
proactive risk management, and consistent delivery aligned with
JANSON’s commitment to being a trusted partner for mission-critical
environments. Requirements: Responsibilities : Program & Execution
Leadership Provide oversight and direction for multiple General
Contractors across concurrent projects and geographies. Ensure
consistent execution standards across all sites, including safety,
schedule adherence, cost control, quality, and turnover readiness.
Own overall program delivery performance for JANSON’s construction
and renovation portfolio. Contractor Management Establish clear
performance expectations, accountability standards, and reporting
requirements for all General Contractors. Lead contractor execution
reviews focused on schedule, safety, cost, quality, and risk. Drive
corrective action, escalation, and resolution of contractor
performance issues as needed. Standardization & Controls Deploy and
enforce standardized program controls, including: Phasing and
logistics strategies Contractor execution playbooks Quality
assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards Ensure consistent
startup, execution, and closeout processes across all projects.
Risk, Safety & Compliance Identify, assess, and mitigate
construction, operational, and safety risks across all active
sites. Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements. Promote a strong
culture of safety, accountability, and professionalism across all
contractors and site teams. Stakeholder Engagement Ensure
stakeholder requirements are clearly understood, communicated, and
met. Support customer confidence through proactive communication
and issue resolution. Qualifications 10 years of progressive
construction leadership experience. 5–7 years managing multi-site
renovation or modernization programs, preferably in federal or
government environments. Bachelor’s degree in Construction
Management, Engineering, Construction Science, or a related field.
Experience working within federal, DoD/Army Corps of Engineers, or
government contracting environments. Demonstrated ability to
operate independently and make sound field and program-level
decisions. Proficiency with Procore or comparable construction
management platforms. Ability to lead with integrity, discipline,
and a commitment to JANSON’s mission and values.
