SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for a Media Design Specialist to join our team! - The Media Design Specialist designs and produces primarily original graphic design for material to be presented through visual communications media, such as proposals, promotional materials, brochures, catalogs, technical manuals, print advertising, multi-media presentations, videos and websites. Serves as expert artist/designer to collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, and Executive teams in the development of high visibility design concepts which aim to impact external (internal and external customers, etc.) impressions and behaviors. Applies in-depth professional-level knowledge to independently solve a full range of complex problems. Serves as trusted 'go to' person by management. A portfolio or examples of work may be requested for review.
Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Technical Proposal-related graphic design support
  
• Website design and maintenance
  
• Social media support and image generation
  
• Publication and advertisement design for all company marketing materials and most company products
  
• Video ---lming, editing, animating, and sound recording for company events, customers, tools, and marketing
  
• Artwork design for capability overviews and presentations
  
• Branding design for customer groups and company tools
  
• Ongoing brand re---nement for company
  
• Marketing product design - coins, shirts, folders, books, handouts, etc.
  
• Company photo support and organization
  
• Company event media support
  
• Ensure all media visually adheres to a consistent standard of the highest quality, and follows speci---c guidelines in terms of color palette, font, and visual design style, so that it is easily recognizable as a product of the SimVentions and the SimVentions brand
