Job Description:
Aramark is seeking a dedicated and analytical Unit Controller to
join our dynamic finance team within the healthcare sector. This
role is pivotal in providing exceptional financial stewardship and
operational support to our healthcare facilities, ensuring that
they not only meet but exceed financial performance and compliance
standards. The Unit Controller will be instrumental in optimizing
financial processes and contributing towards Aramark's mission of
delivering innovative and superior service solutions in healthcare.
Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial
planning and structure Coordinate, analyze and report the financial
performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial
performance, projections and other special projects as required)
Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial
performance for use with internal management and external parties
Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual company
operating budget Manage financial controls and accounting
procedures Ensure full transparency over the financial performance
of the company Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce
costs Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a
timely manner Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial
objectives are attained Support the CEO with the preparation of
monthly and annual financial plans Maintain speed and accuracy of
billings and client payments Coordinate and produce all tax
documentation as required Expertise in financial management and
accounting within the healthcare sector Strong proficiency in MS
Excel and financial management software Excellent analytical,
decision-making, and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and
the ability to identify data patterns and potential financial
discrepancies Strong interpersonal and communication skills for
interacting with various departments within healthcare facilities
Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Public
Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
certification is highly preferred Relevant financial certification
or continued education in healthcare finance is a plus
