Job Description Job Description We are looking for a
detail-oriented and organized Business Manager to join our team in
Richmond, Virginia. This role is integral to the administrative
operations, combining financial management, human resources
oversight, and executive support to ensure seamless functionality.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, confidentiality,
and exceptional interpersonal skills while maintaining a
collaborative approach to team management. Responsibilities: •
Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including processing invoices,
tracking accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank
statements, and maintaining the general ledger. • Oversee payroll
functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in bi-weekly
processing. • Assist with hiring, onboarding, evaluating, and
supporting employees, as well as maintaining personnel records and
implementing policies. • Prepare financial reports and statements,
including budget versus actual comparisons, for internal review and
decision-making. • Coordinate volunteers to count and verify weekly
contributions, ensuring proper handling and deposits. • Provide
administrative support, ensuring efficient office operations and
attentive interactions with vendors. • Collaborate on annual budget
preparation and ensure compliance with financial policies. •
Represent the organization in public interactions, maintaining a
courteous and respectful demeanor. • Offer supervisory guidance to
staff as needed and assist with performance evaluations. • Ensure
confidentiality in financial and personnel matters while adhering
to organizational standards. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting,
finance, or a related field. • At least 3 years of experience in
financial management, human resources, or administrative roles. •
Proficiency in Excel and Google or Microsoft productivity tools. •
Strong leadership and communication abilities with a focus on
collaboration. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to
detail. • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work
effectively under pressure.
