Description MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER - SENIOR
(CMSS-22-0102-W):Bowhead seeks a Senior Maintenance Controller to
support a proposal effort at Patuxent River, MD to join our team
and provide the Department of Navy (DON) with aviation maintenance
support services. The Senior Maintenance Controller will provide
supervisory support for aviation maintenance activities for Level
II Aircraft Maintenance. The Senior Maintenance Controller will
have working knowledge of NALCOMIS and VIDSMAFs an ensure all
required maintenance has been performed before component released
ready for issue.Essential functions will include: Monitor and
maintain documents of all aircraft, aircraft component and SE both
scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Manage, plan, coordinate,
and direct quality control programs designed to ensure continuous
production/service consistent with established standards. Manage
the development and analysis of statistical data and specifications
to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and
reliability expectancy. Plan and coordinate all maintenance
inspection (special, conditional, etc.). Prepare daily, weekly and
monthly reports in support of aircraft equipment long range
maintenance planning and operational requirements. Ensures
completion of Aeronautical Equipment Service Records (AESRs) as
well as outstanding maintenance actions. Ensures all required
maintenance has been performed before component released ready for
issue. Brief the USG on equipment status and contract requirements.
Comply with all current sections of the NAVAIRINST 3710.1 and
CNAFINST 4790.2 as applicable to aircraft/aeronautical equipment/SE
maintenance. Maintain records in support of aircraft/aeronautical
equipment/SE maintenance. Verify all maintenance action
documentation completion prior to submission to the Navy, working
closely with Navy Logs and Records to ensure timely submission of
3M data and required log-book entries. Correction and re-submission
of all Naval generated reports by 3M data system. Responsible for
equipment configuration, working with various civil service work
centers with systems checks as required. Ensure work areas are
maintained in a neat and orderly manner and that all safety rules
and regulations are observed. Work with other personnel groups to
resolve problems. Will instruct and assist in training of
lower-level employees in proper work methods and performance of
their job duties. Perform related duties as assigned including any
and all duties of lower-rated technical personnel within their
classification. Will assist other shops/skills as required. Provide
direction of contractor work center supervisors on assigned tasks
with ability to monitor all duties of the applicable

Requirements In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring

demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level
skills/ability in:o CNAFINST 4790.2 and NAVAIR Instruction 3710.1
requirements.o Monitoring, documentation of maintenance, planning
of schedule and unscheduled maintenance and inspections, required
reports and Navy Logs and Records (i.e., 3M, VIDS/MAFs,
aircraft/aeronautical equipment/SE maintenance), mission
configuration, safety, work center coordination, HAZMAT,
training/licenses/certifications, scheduling, etc.o NALCOMIS system
(utilization, monitoring, reporting). Minimum of 5 years of level
II aircraft/aeronautical systems/SE maintenance experience. Minimum
of two years experience in the field of DON military aviation
maintenance production control management in the last 10 years.
Shall have demonstrated managerial and administrative skills, and
effective communications skills to lead the contractors effort in
meeting the SOW requirements. Minimum of 5 years of I and/or
D-level Navy/USMC aircraft/aeronautical systems/SE maintenance
experience. Five years experience in the field of DON military
aviation maintenance production control management in the last 10
years to the level of effort and complexity of the requirements in
this SOW. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of
employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good
judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a
teamSECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security
clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for
Secret clearance at this location.Applicants may be subject to a
