currently seeking an Senior Finanical Audit Manager to join our
Alexandria, VA team to develop technical expertise and skills to
develop a strategy to guide a large DoD service toward a
successful, financial statement audit. Additional skills and
responsibilities are defined below:
- Develop detailed plans that implement strategic goals and
overall audit strategy
- Provide subject matter technical expertise to team in financial
management areas of financial reporting, audit remediation
planning, and financial statement compilation
- Support strategic communications to foster coordination of
- Provide advice and coordination to operationalize audit
remediation strategy, including auditability goals, budgetary
reform efforts, systems consolidation, data transformation, and
Years of Experience: Must have a minimum of full-time (excluding
internships) 7 years of experience within the past 10 years of
progressive experience providing accounting services to the Federal
Government agencies or Fortune 500 companies.3 years of this
experience must be in a management capacity.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited United
States college or university.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. Secret security
clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)
- Understanding of GAS, GAAP, SSFAS, audit procedures, audit
cycle, and financial analysis techniques, as they apply to DoD
financial statements and assessable units
- Proficient in MS Project
- Self-starter, takes the initiative to deliver quality work
products to the client with little direction from supervisor
- Utilize technology to share knowledge with team members,
develop skills, and continually learn
