ahead!The National Security Sector at Leidos is hiring for a
Computer Scientist (Systems Administrator) to join our team
supporting a U.S. federal government intelligence agency. This role
supports the dissemination of critical Defense intelligence to DOD
executives. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail,
professionalism, and be motivated to support the warfighter. This
position is contingent upon contract award.What you'll be
doing:
- Perform systems administration of desktop, mobile, and server
systems connected to local and wide area networks, including
account monitoring, security, operating and system
installation.
- Support operating system accreditation, recommend new or
emerging technology/software, and support IT system infrastructure
troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Provide guidance on automation solutions to complex information
processing problems, and support enterprise solution software to
integrate business areas.What does Leidos need from me?
- Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the
ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Minimum eight years of experience relevant to systems
administration with at least a portion of the experience within the
last two years.
- Experience administering desktop and mobile devices (iOS and
Android).
- Experience with advanced system and network management best
practices in the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies, cloud services, and
advanced security practices.
- Experience performing system optimizations and diagnosing
complex issues.
- Understanding of IC system architecture and the ability to
implement and manage enterprise-level solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a
concise and organized manner both verbally and non-verbally; with
strong grammar skills.
- Professionalism and effective communication skills are
critical.
- Knowledgeable of and demonstrated ability to apply IC and DoD
classification guidelines and procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize nuances and resolve
contradictions and inconsistencies in information.Favorable if you
have:
- Experience writing HTML, JavaScript, and/or Python.
- System administration certification, such as CISA.
- Bachelor's degree in an area related to systems administration
from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by
the U.S. Department of Education.Original Posting

above.Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay
range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a
guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered
in extending an offer include (but are not limited to)
responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge,
skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with
market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other
law.
